  1. I have heard it called Methodist Champagne.

  2. Dandelion and burdock is a traditional British soft drink. Traditionally it is made from fermented dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) and burdock (Arctium lappa) roots, and is naturally fizzy.

  3. The original concept is from dandelion and burdock. I'm not sure how true to the original recipe it is. Either way, it's not one of my favourites!!!

  4. It is made from Dandelion and Burdock, so I am led to believe.

  5. And why not? It should be exactly what it says - dandelion and burdock. I'm not overkeen, but it's my mother's favourite. It's a very old-fashioned drink, just like cola, which was around a very long time before the Coca-Cola company was founded, and is a *very* different tasting drink.

Why are you so sceptical that drinks can be made from things other than fruit?

  6. Can't give exact measures but this is my recipe.

    Approx.2 pts.dandelion flowers,

One or two(depending on size burdock plants, well washed.

    1 gallon water.

    1 bag sugar.

    2 or 3 lemons.
