i have a engraved copy from the original print. does anybody know if it is valuable?

  1. It sounds like an edition was created by a printing company. In the time this was created an edition of engravings from famous art works were ways of making reproductions commercially. Images were not a easily reproduced, in the way we have photography and all the printed newspapers and magazines, with large circulation, today.

    It depends on who the printing company was, and if they are sought after, how many in the edition of prints, the quality, also how popular the image is.

    Another way to check he going price is to search online print auctions for that title, artist, or name.
