The earth is not a person. It's a chunk of rock, dirt, and water. When we humanize objects, such as planets and trees, we use them as excuses for every good and bad thing in our lives. We elevate them to the status of man.

The environmentalist movement has evolved into a semi-religion where people are now supposed to feel guilty for even being alive. What's the alternative? To stop breathing?

Do you think all the naysayers, like Al Gore, are living their lives in deep sadness, ringing their hands, and depressed? No! They are living it up and laughing all the way to the bank in their air-conditioned, freon shedding, smog inducing SUVs, after their televangelism rant about evil man hurting the Earth. Meanwhile they expect the rest of us to fund their bogus foundations with our tax money and revert to living in the stone age.
