  1. I just got my contacts today.

You may be really freaked out at first,

but you just need to keep trying. Eventually

you eye will get used to something being

near it and the contact will go in. You basically

have to put down your bottom lid, and pull up your top

lid with your other hand. Try to apply pressure

so it's almost like your keeping yourself from blinking.

Then just move your finger towards your eye. Once

you feel the contact touching, don't pull back! You

might pull back alot on the first tries (its normal). Push it

until you feel the contact totally on your eye. Then

keep your eyelids spread apart, look around and SLOWLY

let go. Blink a couple times and there! It's in! And of course your

eye doctor will walk you through the whole thing and give

you tips. Just remember to keep trying and relax! Good luck!

  2. if you hold your bottom eyelid with your ring finger and put your contacts on your index finger and look up and put your contact on the white and then while holding it there, blink and it should go on. that's the way i used to put mine on until i got used to it. hope that helps!

  3. Don't wear contacts if you're afraid to touch your eye, that's just a bad idea. Get over the fear, but until then, it looks like you're stuck with glasses.

  4. When I wear contacts, i dont need to touch my eye at all. I find that if i put the contact on the tip of my finger and make sure its not too sticky frm the solution (so it doesnt stay on my finger), that as soon as it touches my eye it just sits in place...
