Speaking of it Dark Magician will lose to both Obelisk and Ra but Slifer is a whole different subject/story. Slifer has the ability to have 1000 ATK for each card in your hand. So if you end up with 2 cards or lower (1) in your hand then Dark Magician finally reigns over something.

If you are talking about the evolution gods of Yugioh GX then it is about close to the same results but at a different vantage points. Hamon and Raviel are already at 4000 ATK but once again Uria (Slifer Counterpart) gets his ATK and DEF from how many Countinous Traps are in your Graveyard. So once again Dark Magician can reign over another god only if there are 2 Continuous Traps in the Graveyard.
