The eight heats of the Nottingham Produce Stakes 2011, placed D Firmager with his tipple winnings in the limelight
On the 26th of September, at the Nottingham Stadium, British Bred runners surged through their respective traps, in urge to win the purse of the Nottingham Produce Stakes 2011 – Heats.
The quest of covering the 500 meter distance started off with Heat 1 at 7:32pm.
D Firmager’s Fabulous Ferry was the fortunate hound, who very impressively presented a tremendous hit and won the entailing purse worth £100.
The trap 6 runner not only grabbed the purse, but with her amazing pace she was able to vanquish the idyllic hound of the race, Starmount Swift.
The brindle b***h with odds of 9/4, took 30.31 seconds to cross the wire for trainer D Firmager.
The second heat of the show began at 7:48pm.
As the trap doors opened, the most ideal hound of the show, Jazz Apollo, dashed through the dirt track with a fantastic pace.
The brindle dog was swift from the start, leading the race in the second bend. The trap 3 racer got hold of the wire in a total estimated time of 30.05 seconds.
M Wallis’s dog, with odds of 1/3, was later on declared as the fastest winner of the event.
The Nottingham Produce Stakes 2011 – Heat 3 gave D Firmager his second winning of the show.
As the signal was received by the hounds, Fabulous Lopez, a white and blue b***h, commenced through trap 4 with an outclass speed.
Leading the lot of hounds, D Firmager’s b***h surged through the track, leaving all her contenders behind, including the most favourite hound of the show, N Savva’s Shebas Flight.
After earring the third victory in the event, D Firmager attained a reason to sing  praises for his hounds.
The most favourite hound, Romeo Metro, began his chase from trap 3. The 2/5 favourite's prompt start became an advantage for him to achieve the leading position.
The speedy racer concluded his victorious chase in 30.29 seconds.
The result of Heat 5 was the same as trainer K A Harris pictured it. His black dog, EvsF, tremendously marched through the dirt, leaving his competitors behind.
His fast pace helped him achieve the leading position and eventually the trap 1 racer’s quest came to an end when he crossed the wire in 30.50 seconds.
The sixth winner of the race was declared when J Houfton’s black dog gave a hit in the Nottingham Produce Stakes 2011 – Heat 6.
Romeo Vermeer, with 7/2 odds, commenced through trap 6. During his chase, he took the lead in the third bend, later on getting wide and in a recorded time of 30.45 seconds, he grabbed the purse for J Houfton.
The second last show of the event gifted K A Harris his second victory.
Starmount Sonic became fortunate for K A Harris, when he proclaimed himself the first one to cross over.
The white and black b***h grabbed the spot light, when he tremendously whitewashed Mark My Words, who was placed in with 4/5 odds.
The last race held at 9:22pm went in A Tuffin’s favour. His blue dog gave him a chance to celebrate after his pursuit for the purse came to an end.
Doonane Lad, the 7/1 favourite hound, began his triumphant chase from trap 1. Leading halfway, the dog took 30.20 seconds to reach the finish line.
The qualifiers of the heats will be placed in the second round of the Nottingham Produce Stakes, while the draw will be finalised on Tuesday.
