The environmentalist are the cause of the US being the largest CO2 emitter?

Since the 1970s the environmentalist have slowed and after Chernobyl finely stopped the building of nuclear power plants.

This is the cause of the US being the leading emitter of CO2.

NOW they BLAME EVERYONE ELSE in the US,.

And want us to pay for there mistake.

Why should we listen to there propaganda about global warming when they are a cause of part of the problem.

Without there protest we would not be public enemy number one with rest of the world.

We would most likely be one of the leader in low CO2 output.

Plus would not be looking at financial ruin.

Also would not have the HIGH gas prices.

And would not be importing near as much oil.

and would still be a major industrial country.

Because of them .

Let them pay.

agree or disagree

i know you will see them here answering that they are not to blame

but lets hear them try to shift the blame.

and how should they pay

pave there backyards with solar panels or put a giant wind turbine there

  1. Even more silly is the scare about CO2.  They call it a bad thing - yet it is the primary nutrient of our ecosystem.  Plants are starved for the stuff.  The more CO2, the better the plants grow, the more oxygen they produce for us to breathe, the more food they provide for animals.

During the 1960s and 1970s, the Earth experienced a drastic cooling spell.  Scientists tried to tell us it was the CO2 causing a new ice age.  Al Gore, in 1982, tried to get 'carbon payments' made into law.  All this happened while industry pumped more and more CO2 into the atmosphere.  This is SOLID PROOF that CO2 is not the cause of global warming - the scare tactic is just a trick to steal more money from us!

Now that the Earth is warming again, they claim CO2 is causing it, hoping we have forgotten what they said 25 years ago.  Those of us with brains have not forgotten.

The sun drives the climate cycles.  Nothing can be taxed that will affect it.  And, Al Gore set up a corporation to make himself stinking rich off this whole 'carbon offset' scheme!

  2. Sorry, I don't buy it. And I am an outsider and from where I stand the US is so slack in that fight. They haven't even taken a stand and admitted there is even a problem, let alone offer a solution. The greed is so strong in the USA. People seem to sacrifice anything for a buck there.

Believe it or not it's the little things that will curb this disaster. Not the big companies. Where I live there is mandatory 5 step sorting for all garbage. The usual paper, plastic, glass, refuse and now compost. City wide, fines for not doing so. When I mention that to some American friends they think I am crazy. Things like that, even basic recycling in America isn't happening. The waste is huge, it's the most populated North American country and has taken tiny steps in my opinion.

  3. somehow but not all. there are some environmentalists who care for the future and some that only wants money. i somehow agree because some promotes biofuels as a good alternative for fuels. d**n, that belief is wrong.

i somehow disagree because other environmentalists promotes other sources like solar powers and wind turbines. example are the environmentalists in Abu Dhabi

only some must be blamed but not all. those who only wants money must be the one to be blamed.

in short, i agree and disagree

    have a nice day!

  4. Questions asked at the time of Chernobyl were right and still they hold same good. Until you know the safe way to dispose nuclear waste, how could you use it? That is nothing but using energy now and allowing greater problems for future generations.

  5. take that paper bag off your head and look at the real world!!!!

  6. True, years ago they should have supported nuclear energy. However, the CO2 global warming theory was proven wrong.

Former Vice Pres. Gore Wanted 260 CO2 Producing Powerplants Built, But Not One Nuclear Reactor. Why?

  7. Quit blaming.  It does no good.

Take some responsibility and do something yourself or shut up and die with those you blame.

  8. When you run out of people to blame and hide behind, give us all a call.

If you put as much effort into actually doing something about temperature change as you do tying yourself into ever tighter knots explaining how you are basically going to do nothing, the world would be a better place!
