The Italy manager insists that the morality standards only help to enforce the standard of behaviour that is ideal as players and also as people.
Cesare Prandelli has insisted that the term “ethical code” was coined by the press, and believes that the rules of morality only help to encourage the players towards better standards of behaviour, as players and as individuals.
The Azzurri manager introduced an ethical code of conduct for his players since taking over as the Italy manager, and the statute has already seen http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniele-De-Rossi-c10112 getting punished for questionable behaviour at their respective clubs.
The Azzurri chief insisted that the standards of ethics are at par with the standards that we expect as a descent player and a responsible member of the society. He insisted that the statute has only served to encourage better behaviour from the players.
While talking to the press, the 54-year-old said:
“It’s a term coined by journalists. We have only empowered the players and then set ourselves a standard of behaviour that at the time was qualified as people, and then as players.”
Prandelli stated that many teams in the northern Europe have already established rules, which bar the young players and their parents from criticising the coaches for their decisions on selection and substitution.
The tactician insisted that the rules only empower the lads who want to have fun in the game, as well as provides the parents and the players to exercise more responsibility towards other people. He went on to advocate that the enforcement of such regulations
takes the pressure off the players, and adds the responsibility on the parents.
“Many teams, especially in northern Europe, for years have signed a regulation for parents whose children start to play - they cannot complain, they cannot protest against the referee or Coach when making a substitution and they are able to enforce these
rules. The children are given greater responsibility to be involved as much as their parents, who carry the expectations where the child just wants to have fun and play.” He added.
The former Fiorentina manager is set to lead http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 team to the Euro 2012 starting on June 8, 2012.
