The eye catching performance of Jimmy Lollie placed him at the top of the bill for S Cahill
With a tremendous comeback, the well-known champion of greyhound racing, Jimmy Lollie, has earned his seventieth victory for owners, S G Gamblin and P J Reed. After a gap of forty one days, the hound attained his victorious win for trainer S Cahill.
The track at Hove Stadium was thrilled to have Jimmy Lollie, commencing his one hundred and twenty first race.
The hound honoured with the title of British Best Bred 2010, is famous for his speed and amazing techniques of racing. This time he earned the chance to set the dirt track of Hove on fire, and again proved himself as the conquering hound.
On the 29th of September, Johnny Liar Sprint gave Jimmy Lollie a chance to show off his outclass talent.
The brindle hound, without losing the precious chance, dyed on the wool, winning the purse worth £150.
The four-year-old dog was placed in trap 3, to begin his chase in urge to grab the prize money.
His previous wins helped him in crossing the threshold with the most bets. The idyllic dog with 4/7 odds, was a major threat for the lot of hounds.
As they received the signal to initialise their race, Jimmy Lollie striked out of the box with immense swiftness.
Wearing white and black jacket, the young champ surged through the track, with his portentous attitude. The abrupt runner dashed through the trail and placed himself in the middle, gradually proceeding and taking the leading position.
Throughout the show, the victorious hound kept his speedy pace consistent, and did not let go of his pointer position.
Eventually, with his outclass performance, Jimmy Lollie presented a superb hit by getting hold of the wire in a total of 16.17 seconds.
Son of World Class out of Droopys Kara, Jimmy Lollie is famous for numerous achievements.
In 2009, he earned the title of the Stadium Bookmakers National Sprint Final Winner 2009. Besides that, he was also honoured with the title of Sprinter of the Year 2009 and 2010 as well. In the following year, 2010, he was declared as the Best British Bred
