The fan on my comp keeps coming on by itself and its not overheating anyone any ideas please?

Computer fans come on at preset temperatures not when they overheat.  That helps prevent them from overheating.

Depends on the popup.  You weren't very specific.

Try water cooling, put it in a bucket for a few minutes, (unplug it first!) after that it will work fine when it's dried out.

Some PC fans run continuously. Yours is just more sophisticated. We all get pop ups, just delete the buggers.

your fans comes on because your computer IS overheating. You have a setting in bios which is so that if your computer temperature is low, your fan will spin slow.

but if your computer temperature is high you fans will spin faster to keep the temp down.
