You are mistaken.  Feminism did not arise because women were abused.  That is like saying the canary escaped it's gilded cage because it was not cared for properly.  The canary escaped it's cage because it did not belong in a cage, no matter how well it was treated.  And, in it's acts of self-determination, the canary may not live as comfy as it did in the cage, but all that matters to the bird is that it is free.

I think you're right; much of society's standards went in the wrong direction. (I don't think feminism is the cause of this, necessarily.) Eventually we'll come to a happy medium.

I don't see how feminist movement was to make men to heighten their standards. It was about women's rights..... No wonder it didn't happened, it wasn't its objective.

With what you just stated i'm surprised that the female of the species survived.  We must have been just beating the c**p out of you all day long.  Was wife-beater a profession or something,  did a man go to school, apprentice, was it a government job?  I'd really like to know.  Did we hunt for women on weekends with clubs, horses and dogs?  Must have been by the grace of God that women have survived for the last 10,000 years or so.
