The fence between Mexico and the US?

At $16 a mile, i bet the US is pleased it doesnt need to build one between Canada and the US :).............$64 billion lol.........I wonder if a fence will help?.....somehow I doubt it, beats me why anyone actually wants to go to the US, but I am Canadian :) maybe Canada should build one lol.....what do you think?

Canada is not getting up to 20 million people coming through unchecked. That would double Canada's population very quickly. How many Americans have taken Canadians jobs?

I don't think it will help either. Penn and Teller Bull**** television series had an episode on the fence.

Honestly I don't want to be caged in my country. If tyranny ever comes here I don't want to be cutting through a fence to get out. Open borders are fine you just can't have open borders and a welfare state simultaneously while also not cracking down on illegal alien workers and their employers and giving free school to their kids and free medical care.

Enforcing the laws we already have would be best and stop offering so much free stuff as an incentive to come here.

What we need to build between Mexico and us is a wall like the one that was between East and West Germany in the old days; mines underneath, guard towers,etc., that might do it.

Yeah, I thought you meant 16 mil/mile.  The fence is just to make people on the border feel better. Its largely a waste of resources.  The Wall idea is a loser. See: China, Great Wall...

It is refreshing to hear clearly the truth from our Canadian friends.  The only Americans immigrating to Canada are traitors (military deserters).  If you build a wall between us how will Canadians get into America to get quality medical treatment they can't get under your socialized medical system?  If you are Canadian, try moving to Quebec and get a job. LOL  Maybe that is were you should build your wall.
