None of hte above. Sampras won more Wimbledon's that both of them. 7 wimbledons in 8 years is a higher percentage than Borgs 5 out of 6. And the last time I checked, 7 is greater than 5. That's still something to gloat about Sampras fans.

But more than that. Sampras looked invincible on grass. No one really came close to shaking him during those 7 times he won. Ivanesevic took him to 5 sets, but Sampras was always in control. In contrast, Federer was lucky to beat Nadal last year.

the King of Grass of all time is Pete Sampras, and Fed is the king of grass during this generation, but once he wins Wimbeldon this and next year and once he breaks the Sampras record,well that title may be a matter of great dispute. Borg was great on grass, but Fed and Sampras have outdone him completely.

Bjorn Borg was probably better.

Even though I think Roger Federer is the best player ever, I have to give Borg his due and say for now he's just a pinch better. But... not for long.

Federer matched Borg's record of in-row wins at Wimby. Both Borg and Roger beat samprass in that department, they both won 5 in a row, and no one else did that. SamprAss fans, stop gloating over nothing, you're embarrasing yourselves.

This one is tough because Borg is one of my favorite players from the past generation. His personality was ice cold, and he had tremendous focus...  not my favorite attributes, but it made him intriguing.  If Borg stayed in the game would have won many more trophies. But he lost his zeal for the game; and Federer won more titles on grass ... so,



the trophy for king of grass is Roger.
