  1. It's Haiti and it's not debatable.

  2. it was venezuela in 1811

  3. haiti has been independent since 1804  so its haiti, however haiti in a afro/latin country but has its latin roots so we will say latin

  4. Haiti

  5. It is debatable. For example, Venezuela "declared" independence in 1811, but the " independentistas" were crushed as a republic in 1812 and a second attempt in 1813 was also short lived. Real independence of Venezuela came after the battles of Carabobo and Lake Maracaibo in 1821 and 1823. Argentina declared independence in 1810 as the United Provinces of South America (using as an excuse the deposition of king Ferdinand VII of Spain by Napoleon)  but the wars of independence carried on until 1817. Paraguay also declared independence in 1811 and wars against Spanish control continued until 1816. Haiti declared independence in 1804, but it was not until 1825 that France recognized Haiti's independence but only after Haiti agreed to pay France 150 million Francs. Mexico declared independence in 1810, but the war with Spain (bear in Mind that Mexico was a major stronghold of Spain in the Americas, so getting them out was harder) lasted until 1821.
