  1. apollo 11.

did you just arrive on this planet?

  2. was fake...

  3. What about it?

  4. ...was Apollo 11.  This was actually the last of a series of test missions, each building upon the previous ones.  Apollo 8, for example, tested the trajectory computations.  Apollo 9 tested the lunar module's basic spaceworthiness.  Apollo 10 tested lunar orbit rendezvous, descent, ascent, and abort flight modes.

Apollo 11's only objective was "To perform a manned lunar landing and return."  The primary objective of Apollo was to test the ability of the crews and equipment to land and take off again.  All the other activities that command Neil Armstrong and pilot Buzz Aldrin performed were considered important and interesting, but secondary.  The operational missions (i.e., the ones intended to explore the Moon in earnest) began with Apollo 12.

Naturally the historical significance is most closely associated with Apollo 11, and its crew receives most of the applause.  But it is also important to keep in mind that Apollo 11 was largely a test, not an operational mission.

  5. July, 1969.

  6. You really should learn how to correctly phrase a question.  No one is charging you by the word for your questions.  Feel free to use enough words to make your question easily understood.  Of course far too many posters are far too verbose and write paragraphs without asking anything.  These individuals tend to be fundamentalist christians who have a compulsion to "witness".  They are very, very annoying.  You, on the other hand,  seem to have taken the minimalist approach.

I think you want "Apollo 11" as the answer.   It landed in July of 1969.

  7. Um... you need to finish your question.  The first manned landing mission was Apollo 11, with Armstrong, Aldrin, and Conrad aboard.  Armstrong and Aldrin landed while Conrad remained in orbit.  They left for the moon on July 16th, 1969, landed and stepped foot on the moon on July 20th, and splashed down on July 24th, 1969.

  8. They were Neil Asrmstrong, Edwin Aldrin and Michael Collins. Mission's name was Apollo 11. Landed on July 1969. If u want more, pls. xplain ur question.
