  1. i was freaked out at first driving, but once you hop in with a trainer things seem to get easier.  driving up and down your own street, even going 15mph can seem fast, but out on open roads things get more comfortable.

  2. I was training to get my commercial license, when I tried to beat a yellow light in a 18 wheeler....the instructor completely wigged out, almost had a heart attack and was swearing at me to pull over.Just be careful when you approach an intersection....prepare to stop suddenly for a red light, and try to keep calm.Good Luck.

  3. Drivers Ed is a good call. They will help you to feel more comfortable and in control when you are driving.

Also there is a professional beside you if anything goes wrong, or if you make mistakes, ask questions...etc.

Just make sure you ask around to see what the good places are, some drivers training places are rip offs.

  4. I think that most people have an initial fear of driving.  The drivers ed classes are really helpful.  Don't worry, you will be just fine.  You'll make a great driver someday.  Definitely, take the class.  And after that, I'm sure that your parents will be more than happy to help you continue to learn to drive.

  5. i took it at 15.  i had so much fun. it was the funnest class i ever took!!  They help relax you and real patient.

  6. I told the trainer that i would not parallel park.  I would park normally and walk up the street and he passed me.

  7. you should. i was never really scared  but it helped me.
