looking at the negative sides of growing young teams, rather than going forward and supporting them, i do watch it but it kinda gets too much sometimes, as if u wanna say " grow up and move on"

  1. i think i know what your trying to say

    no I dont

  2. I watch the show every week.. and it's a Football discussion show. They (Caro, Gary, Hutchy and Arch) discuss what has made the (footy) news and things that happen on the previous weekend.

and like most news.. the majority of it is negative.. for example all the buddy franklin stuff a few weeks back.. or head-high contact.

THey generally give their opinions and argue their opinions lightly amongst each other... it's not about praise or criticism.

So.. just view it as footy banter.. you can agree and disagree with the comments they give BUt remember they are just the opinions of the four cast members of the show.

on a totally different note.. I am lucky anough to have a brother who bought a very large and new TV. On this tv is a pause function.. If anyone is ever bored with footy classified AND has a new (or recent) tv with a pause function..

I highly reccomend pausing Caroline Wilson, Garry Lyon, Craig Hutchison and Glenn Archer and the guest for each week.. and just look at the faces they pull while talking during the show!!

The results are HILARIOUS! (particularly Caro!) :D

  3. Omg, the chick on that show annoys me so much- stick a sock in her to shut her up.

  4. OMG!

  5. I must admit that I don't watch this show an awful lot (Not on til 10:30over here in WA), but the bits I do see are a little bit negative. I think they are trying to balance out the fun Thursday night footy show with some serious stuff but I am not sure if it works. (Though it is quite amusing when Carolyn Wilson & Craig Hutchison start bickering with each other. He alwys backs down first - from what I've seen)

  6. sorry mate,   couldn't understand the question,  what are you asking exactly.

  7. I agree with you.

I now wont watch anything Caroline Wilson may be appearing in. I reckon she is a self-centred, self-important pain ine butt!

  8. I agree with you. All they do is criticize teams, and they don't offer constructive criticism. They hardly ever praise people or teams. I agree with Louise Maree, Mr. Know-It-All Hutchinson (LOVE IT!) just rambles on and on about things that aren't even true half the time!

I love listening to others' opinions on AFL, but when all people do is put teams and players down, it gets annoying!

  9. I not sure exactly what you are asking but I have had a gutfull of Mr Know-it-all Hutchinson! He thinks he knows everything about footy yet who did he play for?

I used to think he was a good journalist but even that has gone downhill. Gary Lyon has had a go at him more than once now and accused him of "making stuff up" just because the people in question wont give him the answers that he wants! I am inclined to agree.

Caroline Wilson always gets a bad wrap but when you look at it, her work is better researched and she isn't as much in the business of telling other teams that their players are c**p, unlike Hutchinson.

  10. I agree, they have Caro Wilson who is one of the best scribes on football, they don't need Hutchinson who is not a player, or an authoritative journo.

Keep Garry and Glenn who are both sensible and analytical, and add someone who is capable of putting a bit of life into it - surely Ch 9 can come up with someone who is a lively interviewer? NO CH 9 NOT B>>>BRAYSHAW>

Or train Bucks, who is showing great talent as a rookie commentator. And that would keep the show from becoming Kanga-biased, like the Footy Show.
