The fridge in my caravan seems to have stopped working. The power light on the fridge is lit up but the ?

fridge inside is cooling down. It was working fine up until tonight when I noticed the food in the freezer had defrosted. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be here. I was going to try it with the gas instead of the 240 volt and see if is working when I change it over to the gas.

have you got 12volt battery supply as well ? if so has the battery gone flat .

You have the best idea, try it on gas. this will tell you if the small heating element for the electric operation has broken. You can change them yourself but it is a bit awkward to get at. Good luck.

if the power light is on , then most likely is ..compressor quit working...

are you sure you didn't turn it off by accident.....

Check the coil for ice.I bet she's froze up.You'll have to empty it,remove power,and defrost her.
