The fuel pricing is getting ridiculous isnt it?

I totally agree!!  Its time someone came up with some serious solutions to transportation.  Whoa betide the countries like my darling New Zealand that have not put transportation structures in place like Rail and Metro Systems.  Electric Rail systems is my call, bring back the Trams etc.  Our country is almost wholey relying on the roading system and at over $2.00 per litre for fuel we are in the poo!!!   Carry on this thread, lets have a global discussion about this, let us know whats going on in other countries.

i remember when it cost 8-10 bucks to fill my tank now it's 50 and i drive a small car...

omg i know it really sucks, I'm in north qld its like $1.52 a litre last time i fuled up now it costs over $90 for a full tank where it used to be about $55, That bad i just don't drive anywere anymore!

god yes , almost 5 bucks a gallon . Maybe we should go back to the days of horse and buggy, lol. and we as parents we are already paying for our kids which are a VERY expensive undertaking , we're feeling it the worst. We have to do all kinds of driving , to work , to daycare , to the grochery store, to the mall , to the doctors.

It's $4.07 in Southern Indiana.  I work at a gas station & am suspended for a week because I had a $40 drive off!  This is getting to be too much!
