  1. hmmm.....its an gr8 thing....but ...am not really impressed....whts the use....they are nothin becomming environment friendly.....it wont be increasing the fuel effiency...it would just give a driver an option of boosting the power of the car tht too for a few seconds....the power boost system is an total copy of A1gp....except the power boost is comming frm KERS....and hope FOA or FIA dont go on to substitute the performance of the cars with the power boost option......but i also heard tht KERS wont be introduced before 2010...as reported here http://formularacin.blogspot.com        ....as most of the teams are opposing its introduction for 2009....lets see......

  2. For a start, KERS is not an idea taken from A1GP.. their Power-boost button increases the revs of the engines for a certain amount of time... whereas the KERS device stores energy created when braking... It's on the cutting edge of technology, and whilst its performance benefits won't be so amazing... the feat itself of condensing this new technology into a racing car size and format is incredible... Power-boost is a simple technology... we have rev-limiters on F1 cars.. thats all it is...

I don't think the teams are trying to get the most power from these devices initially... I think their main priority would be to get the weight and size of these devices, whether it's a battery or flywheel system, down to a manageable size that can fit into a car and not affect the balance and weight distribution of the car...

  3. yep

    it's really cool

  4. As you see here: http://www.autobloggreen.com/2008/08/06/... Honda are all ready to go next year. Now all they need to do is put Sato into one of their cars.
