  1. Nothings happened yet? OK so you've watched the Back to the Future movies. Tell me. Did you see any personal computers or laptops/ notebooks? How about cell phones? GPS? Interactive video games like Wii? Of course you didn't. Those things weren't at all common in 1985.

100 years ago you would have been locked up for suggesting things like television, radio, jet aircraft, space travel. Technology grows by leaps and bounds even if you don't see flying cars just yet. Example. This is part of an article from today's newspaper:

Now scientists at the University of California in Berkeley have developed a material that can bend light around three dimensional objects making them "disappear", according to an article on Nature magazine's website.

The technology works like water flowing around a rock. Since light is not absorbed or reflected by the object, the viewer only sees the light from behind it - rendering it invisible.

  2. Well, back in the 60's or some such time, they believe that today we wouldn't eat, but rather consume pills for nutrition. Needless to say, this wouldn't work as the pill for one's daily caloric intake alone would be the size of a chair. They also thought our furniture would be plastic a our rooms would have a drain in the middle so we could just hose down our living rooms.

I'm not saying that it's not possible to make a flying car or float buildings, it's just impractical.

For one, air traffic would be almost impossible to control. Sure we do it now, but that's only because very few objects are actually piloted through the skies. Imagine, a million cars zooming overhead. Not to metion you could never really look at the sky with everybody up there.

They would probably only be used for the government and such.

Same thing with buildings. Imagine if some hacker decided to mess with the technology keeping it afloat. Way too easy of targets for attacks anyways.

  3. wow, ur right !! what happen to the future ? i think there is no future :(
