  1. you are assuming that shuffling the decks has some impact on the fairness of the game. this is not true. before the decks are shuffled, the odds are in favor of the house, if only that they are last to act (if you bust before the dealer does, you still lose.)

  2. It all depends on the gaming system provider. Many of these online gambling programs are offered by software development companies that are less then fully legitimate. For example, certain gaming system providers advertise that if you use their system, as an operator you can set whatever profit level you want. And they guarantee you will get it.

Clearly this type of game can be "rigged" to ensure the online casino operator a profit.

I did not see the name of the blackjack provider for WIlliam Hill, nor any mention of any regulations on the blackjack game. They do claim to the licensed and regulated in the UK, however this may apply only to the betting, not the blackjack.

Also they are located in Malta.

I have a casino blacklist on my site, you may wish to check it out to get an idea of how many really bad online casinos there are on the Internet.

  3. They shuffle the cards after 2 or 3 plays so its impossible to count cards

  4. If you think you can card count, forget it, unlike a casino they can assume an infinite deck size.

  5. I would say that they are shuffled, normally after each hand, to stop card counting.   Betting websites can make tonnes of money without having to "con" punters, and the negative publicity that would be attracted to a conning website would destroy this profitiable business. They probably keep it all fair.

  6. I think the House makes enough money without having to cheat.  It's only punters would lose their shirts.
