does anyone know how much money you get in the board game : the game of life ?

at the begin. if you chosse to go to school then you get 500 dollars and if you choose not to you get no money

Everyone gets $10,000 to start with.

It might vary with the Edition of Life you have. Mine is a little older and it is $10,000.

While the actual starting rules vary from version to version (as the 1980's version of the game plays slightly different than today's version), the starting rules are as such.

1) Each Player is given $10,000 to start with.

2) Players that choose college must take out a $40,000 loan (with 2 promissory notes, costing a total of $50,000 w/ interest at the end of the game) before starting on the college path

3) Players that choose career must select their career (assuming it doesn't say "Degree Required") & salary before starting on the short career path.

I love that game but everyone plays it differently even though there are rules. it depends cause everyone plays differently. Maybe $500-$1,000
