The geniuses of darts – Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis, Raymond van Barneveld, Gary Anderson
There have been very few players in their respective sports who have been able to make their special and distinguished positions in their work.
Phil Taylor is one of them. After a rather shaky beginning of the season, Taylor is finally back with a bang on the oche. The beginning of McCoy Premier League is one of those events that comprehensibly manifest it.
Apart from his only game against Lewis that ended in a draw, Taylor has undoubtedly outclassed almost all his other opponents playing in the Premier League.
All this collectively contributes in awarding The Power with the status of the Genius of Darts.
Ranking at the second spot is Adrian Lewis. Also known as the Jackpot, Lewis has been able to achieve much in darts within a very short span of time.
The 27-year-old darts player, who is also the current darts champion, has unfortunately not been able to deliver his best at the Premier League.
Fortunately or unfortunately for him, he has not been able to win any of his games, all his matches ended in draw.
However, his upcoming encounter against the current Premier League champion, Gary Anderson, will definitely be an interesting clash to see.
After winning the Ladbrokes, Adrian has been able to establish a unique standing for himself in the mainstream of darts and the audience now expects him to behave in a similar manner.
Hence, after Taylor, he shares the second position in the category of darts geniuses. The third place has been reserved by the Dutch darts player Raymond van Barneveld.
It might come as a shocker for many as Barney has not been able to perform well in any of his encounters since the last couple of championships.
Similar has been his position in the Premier League, but because of his effective record in the past, he has been provided a place at the third position.
The fourth position is occupied by Gary Anderson. The Premier League defender has been performing extraordinarily well in the Premier League this season.
He has been able to win most of his matches, especially against players like Andy Hamilton, Kevin Painter, James Wade and Simon Whitlock.
Nevertheless, the Scotsman, capitalising on the presence of home crowd, is investing all his efforts to score much better in his upcoming match against Adrian Lewis.
