The goalie on my team was wondering if there's a way to change the color of his goalie pads?

like shoe polish, spray paint, leather dye?

He would go from a light color to a dark color like black (parts of it).

Has anybody ever done that to their goalie pads if yes did it work?

There are a lot of places online that allow you to order goalie pads with custom coloring. As far as actually altering the colors on the pads after purchase, there really is no good way to change them by yourself without making them look bad.

You COULD spray paint or dye them but it would probably turn out pretty bad. There are many custom goalie companies that do these things though.

I wouldn't I dyed my white pads in H.S and left Black stains all over the ice....lol!!!!

Spray paint will crack, shoe polish, no way, and Leather Dye made a mees of mine.
