  1. The starter likes getting his face on T.V. but the race is not fixed.  Wimbledon beat Liverpool and Southampton beat Man. Utd in F.A. Cup finals,  so there are some outsiders winning.

  2. Any horse could win the grand national its a matter of who stays on the horse I personaly think its all luck

  3. ever hear of the saying"sore loser"?

  4. These things happen in sports.  Look at the Masters.  The guy who beat out Tiger Woods was a virtual unknown.  Horses, just like human athletes, have good and bad days.

Better luck to you next time.

  5. It's all down to luck,if they don't jump right thats it.But you were right about the starter, what a plank!

  6. Well I am glad it was fixed, I won  Ã‚£112, just because the silver birch in my garden fell down yesterday.

  7. Don't be daft!  Do you know how hard it would be to fix a race with 40 runners?!  Not only would you have to get all 40 jockeys in on it you'd have the worry of trying to stop 39 horses from doing what they do best!  Sorry my friend, you're just being a bad loser.

Horse racing is all about the chance of an outsider winning.  No one would be interested if it was easy to predict the winner every time.
