The great and almost only comfort about being a woman is that one can always pretend to be more stupid than one is, and no one is surprised.

Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton are women that little girls looks (and some big girls) look up to, despite the fact that they are idiots no one thinks less of them. Does the fact that they are women excuse their behavior? How differently would they have been accepted had they been men?

  1. "The great and almost only comfort about being a woman is that one can always pretend to be more stupid than one is, and no one is surprised."

"Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton are women that little girls looks (and some big girls) look up to, despite the fact that they are idiots no one thinks less of them"

Right.  Because NO one makes fun of Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.  Ever heard of Youtube, TMZ, etc.?  Do you see Paris Hilton winning awards for her music or movies?  Has Lindsay gotten that Oscar yet?  The only one I take offense to is Britney.  Yes, she's got issues, but she worked her behind off to become successful.  When did she act dumb, or are you confusing her with Jessica Simpson?

As for men not being able to get away with being dumb: do you know who our president is?  This is the man who understands "how hard it is to put food on your family", and  has only one question: "Is our children learning?"  Seriously, the man is a moron.

  2. Geez, where have you been? Almost nobody has respect for them these days. If you want an example of how little girls feel about them, look at Barack Obama's daughters; I believe the exact word was "yuck."

  3. I really really hate when a women plays down her intelligence to impress guys.
