... was convincing the world they didn't exist?

What do you think about this?

I mean if you knew you could be defeated by good wouldn't you make people believe you don't exist so that you could cause bad in people's lives from the sidelines???

Do you agree or disagree?

  1. I suppose that would make a lot of sense

  2. naw. their biggest trick was possessions

  3. I disagree.

Their greatest trick was convincing a full quarter of the earth's population to follow and believe every word of Satan's own prime minion, the Pope.

  4. The greatest trick was the invention of money...Money is the root to all EVIL!

  5. Being THE deciever, it is unlikely that we would know what the 'greatest trick was'.

If I must choose, I would say the first trick would have to be the greatest. There is no other trickery without this one.

Winning and losing are irrelevant to God. Omnipotence 'wins'.

Therefore, a more accurate way to explain the effort is that if the adversary believed they could win... 'The art of war is deception.' Sun Tsu

The smallest deviations, the smallest lies, are the most damning in the long term.

Also like war, you engage with the obvious/'big stuff', while winning with the unconventional.

By definition, convention is also predictable.

aaaandd blablahblah enough have a goodun', out.

  6. If there is no devil then there can be no Abrahimic (Christian, Muslim and Jewish) God as it would mean that the stories are all lies.

Therefore if people believe there is no devil they believe there is no God. If people believe there is no God.

Of course, if they've been tricked into not believing in God rather than there not being a God, then they would go to h**l.

They go to h**l and the devil wins, which is a damned good trick, and I think it's actually the only one he ever pulled successfully... certainly the best trick he ever pulled.
