The grout where wall meets floor tile is leaving a cloudy haze and takes a long time to dry. How do I repair?

  1. You need to use grout, not caulk.  All the old grout needs to be removed forst and the area cleaned of all soap deposits, etc.  If mixed properly, grout dries pretty fast, but you need to keep it dry until the following day.  Clean up the haziness with a wet sponge.  If necessary you can use muriatic acid, but the stuff is nasty and dangerous to work with.
