i have 2 children in foster placement,social services want them adopted my 13yr girl told them what she wants to happen they have said all the powers they have they are going to use to have my 2 babies placed bk home as my youngest girl has been placed with her dad i have my 13yr old girl and 17yr old boy who lived with me today i attended a LACreview as did the guardian in which i learnt that she is in favour of care order of adoption which social services are applying for, can they give my daugther false hopes like that as she has become very upset and down

Fight them up the courthouse steps.  They get cash payment for every infant placed for adoption so they are trying to reach their targets so they get the cash bonus.

ultimately, it is up to the judge to make the decision. Social services makes their recommendations, and then the judge decides. In my case, DFCS recommended that my daughter be adopted out, but the judge decided to give me another shot and eventually she came back home, and has been with me for 2 years. So, while social services can say all they want to, ultimately, it is not their decision, it is the judge's
