My driver side window doesn't close all of the way - I took it to the car wash and because they made a stink about water getting in, even though I told them I didn't care, they put tape to keep the water out. Now the remainder of the tape goo is on my window and part of it on my car/paint. How should I remove without damaging anything? THANKS!

  1. GooGone, a citrus based cleanser or NON-ACETONE fingernail polish remover.

  2. Just use a razor blade, windex, and paper towels.

  3. Quite simple, a product called Goo Gone.

    Seriously, it's a good product!

  4. use a small amount of goof-off on the areas

    It's safe on cars

  5. use something oil-based to break up the goo then use soapy water to remove oil.its like removing an old band-aide.

  6. WD-40 and a soft cloth or baby oil and rubbing alcohol

  7. rubbing alcohol or a razor blade that you use in the utility knifes..

  8. I use WD-40 for stuff like that, but almost any oil, even vegetable oil will eventually soften those adhesives; they're usually oil-soluble.     So even an oil skin cream would probably work too.

  9. spray pam on it and let it wait for a few minutes and then rub it off. then just clean to get the oily pam off.

  10. go home and get a wet toilet paper
