The hanging of two g*y boys in iran?

Mahmoud Asqari and Ayad Marhouni, 17 year old boys, wer hanged on july 19 2005 there crime was being in love. now some sites say they wer hanged for being g*y and have lists of more hangings of homosexuality. but another said they wer being hanged for the kidnap and rape of a 13 year old boy. dose anyone know wat realy happened?

Well, I believe it was the incident of involving two teenage boys. One was 15 and one was 17, at the time, if I'm not mistaken. They had a homosexual act. The ages aren't that important, but they didn't rape anyone. They were two boys ranging from 14-17 for sure, and they were just messing around. They didn't know they could be put to death for their homosexual acts, but the court didn't seem to care. I know, it's sad :(

Oh well, things will change in Iran, Iran is the country that is known for the most hangings of Lesbians & g**s in the whole world.

i dont think its gonna be with them being g*y...i think its because they raped the boy.....im pretty sure that if they were str8 and they rape a younger girl they probably would have been hanged too.....

i think thats just inhumane...0_o i mean hanging? come on....do they hang women because they think theyre witches....

humans can be so very stupid sumtimes....

i feel bad for the boys cuz they did do a horrible thing (rape a minor) but come on no one derserves to die like that....u gotta be sum sort of robot in order to hang sumone.

i really dont understand how the world thinks sumtimes....

It's hard to say what really happened when your dealing with a government like Iran.  They will make up some other charge to convict them with so the rest of the world can't complain about it.  In many cases the charge they are arrested for is being g*y, but then when the trial comes there's a whole new list of crimes they are charged with.

Actually the problem is not homosexuality the problem is Islamic culture and religion. Here is how it works. In Islam if you sodomize a young boy and are not in love with him, then it's not homosexuality. For example, in Afghanistan they are known as "bacha bereesh", boys without beards,  p*****n, tween and teenage boys who are forced to dress up as girls and dance for male patrons at parties in northern Afghanistan. These are always, Muslim Clerics, wealthy merchants, and powerful warlords who are allowed to engage in this practice which predates Islam. It is an old Arab custom. Sir Lawrence of Arabia was given a boy for his use and that is why he so loved the people and the region.

At present the practice that has led to some of the boy dancers being turned into s*x slaves by wealthy and powerful patrons, often former warlords, who dress the boys up as girls, shower them with gifts and keep them as "mistresses". You will see them always at Muslim weddings being paraded around like trophies. They are traded, used, bought and sold. There is the appearance in some Islamic countries that it is not tolerated as Police will "raid" weddings and homes to rescue the boys. They are actually not rescued but are resold to members of other factions who want them.

Boy rape is very often committed by Mullah's who do so discreetly. You must understand that what is hidden in their culture is hidden for a reason. They will deny the practice but the rest of the world has been an eye witness to the practice for centuries.

Boys who are poor and hungry are always forced into this lifestyle. The  boys do as they are commanded in order to feed and protect their families and themselves. They have no choice. There is no love involved in these actions so according to Islamic law it is not homosexual.

The Mujahadeen liberated many boys from their captors years ago only to enslave them all over again at the hands of the Mujahadeen Mullahs and warlords. The Mujahadeen is now called Al-Queda.

Liberating  the bacha bereesh when "liberated" under Islamic law can be resold to whoever their new captors are. The two boys in which you speak were guilty of refusing the sexual advances of the local Mullah and were sentenced to death for it. Those two boys were children and died at the hands of child rapist. So much for embracing diversity huh?

It's a wilderness of lies these two kids wandered through and at the end was a cruel and humiliating death. In the name of Allah?

Many in the Islamic religion will deny this, but the evidence is all too numerous. I was born in the Middle East and still have a home there, specifically, the state of Israel. I have many Muslim friends and they were victims of these practices. In Israel, you can be Muslim and g*y, no one cares and this is why over a  million Muslims chose to become Israeli citizens as they fled Islamic states.
