I finshed this book in 1 night.It was such a good book.What book is after the hatchet?And is it as good as the hatchet?

There are indeed more than one sequel.

Brian's winter: An alternate to Hatchet, what if Brian had to spend the time where he was in the winter? Without the radio working so he couldn't call for help? This book is a what-if book. I've never read it but it sounds amazing

The River: The River, a government agent asks Brian to return to the Canadian wilderness-about 100 miles from his original camp-and show him how he managed to survive. The agent gets struck by lightning and falls into a coma, leaving Brian to construct a raft to transport him to a trading post. I've never read this either, but I'm going to.

The Return:The third additional novel, titled Brian's Return, tells the story of Brian returning to the Canadian wilderness in a canoe, aptly named the Raft, a gift given to him at the end of the book, The River. Sounds like a another good one

Brian's hunt: A fourth additional novel was written in 2003. In Brian's Hunt, Brian finds an injured dog while in his canoe. He thinks that the dog belongs to trappers, so he goes to his Native friends to ask if anyone lost a dog. When he arrives at their house, he finds the mauled bodies of his friends. He finds out a bear killed them and noticed that one of their daughters is missing. He later finds her in a canoe out on the lake and goes to hunt the bear. sounds awesome

Gary Paulsen wrote three books like that. The Hatchet is the first one, and then there are 2 different books after that. They are The River, and Brian's Winter.

Brian's Winter,  is where he tries stays in the forest, and lives through the winter.

The River, takes place after he is rescued. Then the government wants to send him to a similar forest, and watch him survive again. So they can learn valuable techniques for the army on how to live in the forest.

I own all three books, and they are all excellent!!
