  1. it depends on the person, i like the feel of the club but i couldn't get my ball flight down with it. If you like the look of the club as it is unusual then get custom fit it'll make a massive difference to the performance. Remember that its not always what other people think but what you feel comfortable with. I play a Titleist 905R, yet my practice partner plays a Taylor Made R7, and neither of us would swap, so pick your favorite and happy driving!!!!

  2. no the dimple is the driver is not good for beginners...i dont even know how VIJAY uses it and likes it

  3. Hibore XL is a great driver for distance but not the best on accuracy because of the shaft type clevland likes to use (epic)and its a bit more flexxy then any other driver and will maybe cause a slice on your shots. But if i had to chose a good driver thats similar to the Hibore but better shaft and ball flight is the Calloway Big Bertha 460.

  4. Personally, I play hand-me-down Top Flites (which I like), but I've heard that the Hi-Bores are top notch. I'd get them if I were you.

  5. Two guys in my usual foursome play it.  Both of them love it.  I've hit it before, and it's a pretty solid club.  If you can get a good deal on one, it's not a bad choice.  (I use a TaylorMade r7 425)

  6. Hi Bore XL and now the XLS, I have seen some very good players become very good and very long with these drivers. I had to get my daughter a Hi Bore XL 9.5 mens reg shaft for Christmas and now she is a very long driver (she's 14 and on a 4.4). I am getting her hand-me downs now.

  7. Not very popular on tour - I think VJ is the only top 20 guy hitting it, but that could be a function of how much Clevelend is willing to pay a pro to play their driver.  In my group of 12 guys that play every Saturday our 2 handicap player got one last year.  He picked up a little distance with it, but when  you are already a 2 how much better are you going to get?  He hit 13 of 14 fairways before he got it and continued to after he got it.  All you can do is demo it and see how it feels for you.
