The hidden folders of my PC r not being shown?

Question

I have also gone through "Folder Options/View/show hidden files" but it did't work. I have also scanned my PC with antivirus. Pls. tell me the solution!

it wont work i know it bcs i had this problem.i also scanned 4 virus it wont solve the problem the only solution is format the computer

Just do this:

open any folder

go to tools-->folder options-->view-->hidden files n folders-->click "show hidden files n folders"--->Apply

n then click "apply to all folders" tab situated near upper side

n then OK..

I seriously think this is because of Virus only, but no need to format and re-install. Get an better Anti-Virus software.

If you are using Licensed Anti-virus then get in touch with the Anti-virus company and if you have the Free Version of anti-virus then try with some other anti-virus software.

Try using AVG Ver-8 anti-virus. Its better then other free anti-virus softwares.

in your computer there is malware/spyware is being installed you have to scan by a spyware remover.

You have got a virus in your computer. But dont think you have to loose you hidden folder. Just Install a new copy of windows in the drive with previous windows installation and that would solve the problem. Any problems - Contact at www.guriqballive.com or [e-mail]

Pls follow these steps to see the hidden files in your Pc

1. Go to the location where the hidden files are located

2. Give Slect all (Ctrl + A) option

3. Adiaglog box will show 'whether u want to select also hiddenfiles'- Give OK

4. Then all files will be selected

5. Try to copy it or cut and move it to another location

6. Now open the new location the hidden files will be shown visibly

well i think ur system had been infected by virus thats why u r not able to see the hidden files ....but i think u can unhide those files from the dos prompt by using the ATTRIB command ....to get more information on the command type attrib/? in dos prompt .....

syntax

to see all hidden files dir/a:h

to unhide those files .

attrib -h filename

or for all files by one command use wildcard command

attrib -h *.*

there is one more trick but i think it will work so why more ..
