The high school i want to go won't accept me, why?

I live like one hour away from that school but it says it wouldn't accept me. My friends mum rang up the school saying whether her daughter could go to that school the school replied no because she was 20 minutes away from the school. then this girl from my school she lives 1 hour away same distance away as me but one week later she was accepted but why is the school saying that they won't accept me and my friends. they haven't seen our report yet and hardly know a thing why wouldn't they accept us but accept my other friend who also didnt tell that school about her self.

hmmm,

aside from your grades i can't think of any thing that would matter except your attendance record. the first high school i tried attending wouldn't accept me either b/c i lived almost an hour away and i had a very long (lol) tardy/absent record from my grade school. they said they only allowed something like three or five tardies/absences per semester.

that's the only thing i can think of , except maybe that other girl is really rich and her parents bribed the school...

school districts limit were kids can go to school depending on were they live, like they did that for us this year when we were picking high schools but we only had the option of two schools that we live closer to and we hace like 5 high schools in our district, they do this because they don't want one school more crouded then the other

seriously. you SHOULD have the right to go to that school. 20 mins away or not.
