Twenty20 Finals day is almost upon us in England. The stage is set for Saturday 26th July at The Rose Bowl, Southampton.

And the burning question on everyones lips is this:

Who will win The Mascot Derby?

Forget the cricket, the stuffed animals racing round the field, with the inimitable David Lloyd commentating, is the highlight of the cricket season in England.

So who will win, and will there be any controversy this year?

Since I'm an Essex fan, I'm going for Eddie the Eagle for the mascot derby, but it'll probably be the Sussex shark. Also, Essex for the actual T20 win. Hopefully Graham Napier will be able to perform down at the Rosebowl, as he's been awesome at Chelmsford! :)

I cannot tell you how creepy I find mascots, they really unnerve me.

But since I'm rooting for Kent to win the tournament I guess I'll go with their spitfire mascot to win as well.

As for controversy I predict the Sussex Shark to get throw out because of a doping scandal.*
