It was an amzaing book but i haven't heard anywhere that its going to be a movie but i think she said she wants to work on sequels.

I haven't read anywhere that insinuates it will be made into a film, but I really hope that they do. I loved the book and think that it would make a really interesting movie:)

MTV: You've said that when you write, you cast actors in the roles in your head. Would you like to see a "Host" movie? Who are your dream stars?

Meyer: I would. ... With "Twilight," I felt the actors needed to be up-and-coming artists that haven't been recognized yet. ... With "The Host," I think the actors could be really big names. That would be cool. I'd love to see Robert Redford put on a beard and be Jeb; he would be amazing. ... Matt Damon has some very Jared-esque qualities, and then [I'd love to see] Casey Affleck as Ian and Ben Affleck as Kyle. Imagine the interplay.

There aren't any plans yet, but if they do do a movie, Steph said she pictured Matt Damon in the part.

there is no news that it will be, but i do agree the book is really good. and it could possibly be a movie. She is probably going to write more to the story and make it a series like Twilight so maybe in the future if the book gets more of a buzz they will make it into a movie just like twilight.

it probably wont be. you dont need to waste your time asking ppl you dont know a question that simple. ppl probably only read it b/c she wrote it. if it was as international maybe but no. just look it up online or her website.
