  1. I would suggest you go onto the manufacturer's web site and ask them for directions on how to do that exactly.

    If you have the owner's manual then give them the stove's model number and serial number and I think they can assist you.

  2. It could be the lamp or the thermostat that sits on top of the burner, all glass top burners have this thermostat for two reasons one to lite the hot burner indicator lamp and to keep the burner from over heating, thermal cut out on temp.
