  1. d.  Hydra are sedentary (not active swimmers), freshwater, and definitely uses its tentacles to feed.  It is lacking a medusa stage, having only a polyp stage.  However, it is not "unique" as there are other hydrozoans that lack medusa stages.  It is unusual though.
