A 2.00-L flask is filled with propane gas(C2H8) at 1.00 atm and -15.0 C. What is the mass of the propane in the flask?

  1. PV=mRT

    m = PV / RT

    V = 2 L

    P=1 atm

    T = -15 C

    R = gas constant... look it up

    You will have to convert the Temp into absolute units, if you are using SI units use Kelvin if you are using english units use Rankine.

    The same is true for the Pressure and the volume, some conversion is required.
