The injuries of Kaboul and Vaart worry Redknapp
The sixty-three year old veteran manager of the Tottenham Hotspur football club, Harry Redknapp, is very concerned regarding the injury of Tottenham’s Dutch veteran midfielder Van Der Vaart. Harry has also expressed that he is eagerly waiting
for the Rafael Van Der’s hamstring injury’s medical reports.
It is to be noted that the ace Dutch attacking midfielder Vaart hit the injury in the twelfth minute of the match against the Liverpool football club on Sunday. Later the Hotspurs won the match by two goals to one but the injury of Vaart has given a strong
blow to Redknapp’s plans for the upcoming matches as presence of a striker like Rafael can create a huge difference in a match.
In a very recent interview, Harry Redknapp expressed his concern with the hamstring injury of the twenty-nine yeas old Vaart. He said that the injury of Rafeal is not at all of a minor condition because he has torn his hamstring muscle. He continued that
it will take some time for Rafael to heal and he is looking forward to check the medical reports of the Rafael.
On the other hand the French defender of the Tottenham Hotspurs, Younes Kaboul, is also suffering from a hip muscle injury which is stuck in the same match on Sunday against the Liverpool football club.
The injuries of two key players of the squad has definitely created a lot of mental stress for the team’s manager Harry as Kaboul and Vaart can make a huge difference and can change the condition of the match in no time. Moreover it is also to be noted that
currently Rafael Vaart is enjoying a very good goal scoring form as he has snatched eight goals out of fourteen matches this season.
Rafael Van Der Vaart has always been fighting with injury issues and that is why his physical condition has been strongly questioned by the football fans and critics. It is also to be noted that before the recent hamstring injury, Vaart hit a minor ankle
injury in the match against Werder Bremen.
While talking about the fact, the former West Ham United manager Redknapp said that despite of the being an extraordinary football player Vaart has also been hitting different sort of injuries. He added that Rafael is a brilliant footballer and a very precious
asset for the team. Harry said that the Dutch should concentrate over his physical fitness to minimize the chances of clutching the injury.
The former Portsmouth football team manager also told the media about the substitution for the injured players. He told that at the moment the twenty-seven year old English defender Michael Dawson is fit and ready to replace the twenty-four year old injured
French Younes Kaboul in the next match of the team. Harry added that Dawson will take part in a friendly match of Tottenham and in the match his fitness will be keenly observed. It is to be noticed that the Englishman Michael Dawson was also recovering from
a knee injury which he hit in the match against Bulgaria.
On the other hand the Sebastien Bassong is reported to be fit and ready to play for his team. It is also reported that Bassong is in good form and can play a very important role in a crucial match for his team. When the Tottenham Hotspur football team is
lacking two of its key players because of the injuries the return of an in-form player, Sebastien Bassong to the squad is certainly a sign to sigh.
After that Harry Redknapp said that he is very happy with the way the team has performed against the Liverpool football club. He continued that he is very hopeful that the injuries of the duo will not affect the performance of the team.
