Question:

The internet called clearwire???

ok i have this brand of internet and it should be good you know paying 40$ a month for it but it aint its super slow it downloads at 10-40 kbps and idk why is it because of a fire wall or what ive looked aroung and this is something that interest me most of all i looked and found a site that said it would be downloading at 6-15 mbps now if it is some kinda fire wall stoping the speed of my connection then how do i turn em off i tried the fire wall thing you turn off in your computer by pressing start then control panel exct and ive heard about something that has to do with the DNS of the modem about having fire walls in that or w/e but if thats so then how do I turn them off????

  1. With Clearwire, the speed is totally dependent upon the quality of your wireless connection!  If your signal is weak or has interference.... you will be slow. - Call them about the issue or visit the on line support pages

    Speed has nothing at all to do with your Firewall!  The firewall is there to protect your computer from unauthorized connections, it will STOP traffic from hacking you but it will not SLOW traffic down.

    Yes, if you change to wired service at 6-15mbs, it will be faster its the nature of the systems!
