The jet in my above ground pool is weak?

I've had my pool about a month. At first the jet was very powerful on the output, now it's very weak. I dont know what's caused this. Everything is exactly as it should be according to the Pool Store. Any suggestions as to why the jet would be slow?

Change filter

Before you change your filter, check your strainer basket, make sure it's clean.  Then backwash your filter for 5 or so minutes.  Then reset to filter.  That should clear up the problem.
