Vineet is right. It is Gangotri. Around the glacier are the peaks of Gangotri Group. It is approachable from Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand.

According to them, the glacier 30.4 km long and 2 - 4 km wide is the largest in Himalayan ranges. The glacier is continuously receding since 1780. Over past 25 years, it has receded more than 850 meters.
