    I don't understand what's going to happen, but it doesn't sound good.

  4. The last great epidemic was the Spanish Flu around the end of WWI.  The next will probably be another form of the flu since we really can't control or predict it, and it's more deadly that other similar viruses.  

  5. Many believe that there will be a new pandemic arising from some crossover illness from other species, possibly caused by genetic manipulations.
