For someone interested in law school, what types of jobs or avenues are available for law school graduates wanting to assist the homeless population?

  1. You can help them sue corporations for no reason. Perhaps one of your homeless clients might "slip" on a wet floor with no wet floor sign. I think the best avenue to help the homeless would to get a job in social services not law.


  2. If you want interaction with the homeless population then you're looking at perhaps being a public defender or working at a non-profit 'legal aid' organization.

    However, if you don't necessarily want or desire direct contact then you can look into becoming a lobbyist for a non-profit.  Or you could go into government as a congressional aid.
