  1. Is Panama part of the US.

  2. Anything, and I meant  a n y t h i n g, born here is an American citizen,........go figure!

  3. if you are going to provide such information, please state where the law can be found.

not sure you have good info there, sparky.

  4. The "law" says nothing of the kind.  The qualifications for president are laid out in the Constitution, to wit:  "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."  That is a direct quote from the Constitution.  Obama is a natural-born American citizen, having been born in the US.  It doesn't matter how long his parents lived there.  He is also at least thirty-five and has lived in the US for fourteen years.  Obama therefore meets all of the qualifications to be president.

If there were an iota of truth to any of the rumors to the contrary being disseminated by scurrilous emails and right-wing blogs, the Republicans would have been all over it. Even before he became the Democratic nominee, the Clinton campaign would have called him out on this.  Look, if you want to criticize Obama's policies, his voting record, or his plans for when he becomes president, fine.  But stop making stuff up.  Just stop it now.

Addendum:  This is in response to your "Additional Details."  First, your contention that Obama's birth certificate is forged is just that, a contention, with no basis in fact.  You are merely parroting the scurrilous inuendos disseminated by right-wing blogs and pundits.

You claim that "templates for Hawaiin birth certificates are available on their official web site."  Really?  Could you provide me with such a link, because I have been unable to find such.  Or is it just that you are again simply repeating what you have heard?

As you have done in so many of your other questions and answers, you question why Obama's race would be shown on his birth certificate as "African" rather than "American."  Why you keep asking this question is truly amazing.  As so many people have already pointed out to you, also in other questions you have asked in this forum, "American" is not a race.  I defy you to find a single birth certificate issued in the US at any time that lists the race as "American."

Oh, and I notice you seem to have dropped the issue of the supposed "law" that your question refers to.  Since I have clearly demonstrated that you were wrong on that point, you chose to take off on an issue that is more open to question, since by state law original copies of Hawaiian birth certificates are available only to the person in question or immediate family members.  So, you either have to accept that the certificate is real, or you have to engage in an exercise in absurdity.

Stop and think about it, just for a moment.  If there were an iota of true to what you, and others of your ilk, are asserting, the Republicans would have been all over it.  Even more so would the Clinton campaign have made this an issue.  She wanted very much to win the nomination, and was certainly not above making some questionable statements about Obama herself.  Why then would she not have focused on the issue of Obama's birth certificate, since if he were indeed not a natural-born  American citizen he would not even be qualified to run?  The simple answer is that there is no truth to the allegations.

By the way, I see that you do not allow emails or instant messaging.  Why is it, I wonder, that people like you, who insist upon making assinine comments on this forum, always seem to block others from being able to respond, except in the rather limited capacity available here?  Could it be that you are afraid the precarious house of cards that is your world view would collapse if it were subjected to the merest breath of truth?

  5. This will come as a horrible shock to all the illegal aliens who came to America so their children would be born US citizens.

    You are wrong.....

Obama is fully qualified to run for President.....  is he capable of being a good President is a whole different question

EDIT..... "Race" is not "Nationality"......Obama is African by race but American by nationality..... no conflict here

While I oppose Obama.....I do so on REAL issues.....not these trumpt up false issues

  6. There is no such law.

If there were, McSenile would be disqualified, as he was born in the Panama Canal Zone where HIS parents were living.
