I will be traveling to London next Tuesday and I'm looking for the least expensive transportation from Heathrow Airport to the apartment I'm renting in South East London (Greenwich area). If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!!!!!

  1. heathrow has the underground so i recomend that, you will start on the picadilly line and just use the map to guide yourself to your destination... any trouble or worries just contact underground staff and they will help you.

  2. If you use the Underground and the DLR and travel with an Oyster Card it will cost £2 (£3.50 if your journey starts 7am-7pm).

  3. No doubt about it - the underground is the cheapest.

The Piccadily line of the London Underground system serves all 5 terminals with a very frequent service.

This site :-   http://www.tfl.gov.uk/    has a journey planner and maps so that you can plan your route exactly depending on precisely which station is nearest your final destination.
