The leaves in October (the book) tissue paper flowers?

in the book the leaves in October they make tissue paper flowers, i was wondering if i could have the exact instructions, all the websites show this type of flower:http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1236/875508869_93bc08b68d.jpg?v=0

i remember in the book they used rubber bands so it MUST have been made differently,

Go to You tube and you can watch Videos of making paper flowers . Your first picture is a kit from Michael's Craft Store a Martha Stewart Kit , I have made them and they are very easy ;)))
